After a three-year absence, One Family are thrilled to confirm the much-anticipated return of their glittering Diwali event, to be held at iconic five-star hotel The Dorchester.

This is a doubly exciting announcement, as the event marks their first post-pandemic Diwali, meaning friends and supporters can finally reunite in-person to enjoy fine food, music, dance, comedy and inspiring conversation.

Having previously been held at The Savoy, Diwali is moving to the grand Ballroom at The Dorchester, which has its own entrance on London’s Park Lane. With the hotel allowing external catering for the first time, a sumptuous four-course Asian-fusion menu will be provided and overseen by Executive Chef Mario Perera on the night.

In partnership with the Hemraj Goyal Foundation, the spectacular event will be held in support of Maiti Nepal, One Family’s Anti-Trafficking Fund partner, with the unique honour of being joined by founder Anuradha Koirala as the special keynote speaker.

One Family’s flagship Diwali is renowned for bringing together an eclectic guestlist representing the worlds of business, sport, TV, politics, art, music and philanthropy – and this year will be no exception. The star-studded gala evening will be hosted by Nina Wadia OBE and comedian Paul Chowdhry, while there will be a host of stellar performances. Among those providing the entertainment will be hip-hop dance troupe Usha Jey, whose #HybridBharatham went viral earlier in the year. Guests will also be treated to the eclectic sounds of The Leo Green Experience, a jazz sensation who has played with everyone from Van Morrison to Paul McCartney and Jerry Lee Lewis. Later in the evening, Magic FM DJ Neev Spencer will be spinning plenty of beats.

Maiti Nepal was established nearly 30 years ago by social activist Anuradha Koirala, and has been working to protect women and girls from sexual exploitation, trafficking, abuse and torture ever since. Following her unmissable previous appearances at One Family events, Anuradha will again share more details about Maiti Nepal’s life-changing work, and where funding is most needed.

We look forward to welcoming friends, ambassadors, investors and supporters to what promises to be an unforgettable night at The Dorchester on Thursday October 13, 2022.
