One Family’s ‘Frontline Care Boxes’ are going nationwide after an incredible reception from some of London’s worst-hit hospitals.
So far, frontline key workers in hospitals across London have shared their delight at receiving the boxes. “I’m so impressed with the contents of these care boxes and how considered the approach to each item has been,” said Lisa Knight, Chief Nurse at London North West. Samantha Farrell, an A&E nurse at Queen’s Hospital in Romford, said: “Receiving this pack makes me feel proud to work for the NHS; knowing that people like you really care about us means a lot”.
Thousands of boxes have been distributed across London hospitals so far, including: Chelsea & Westminster, Northwick Park, Homerton, Whipps Cross, Newham and University College Hospital. The scheme is now being rolled out nationwide to hospitals in Birmingham, Leeds, Durham, Sheffield, Cardiff, Glasgow and Lancashire.
