Trained under Elizabeth Emanuel, creator of Princess Diana’s iconic wedding dress, Raishma, and her brand by the same name, creator Raishma’s brand has become highly desired, with her collections featuring in John Lewis, Debenhams, and House of Fraser.
This summer will see the launch of Raishma’s new collection – Maya – which features both haute couture and prêt-à-porter ranges. The collection has been designed exclusively to support One Family and was launched at the Oriental Fashion Show, Paris in January.
Maya means love in Nepali, a love that can be shared across cultures and communities. All beaded by hand, Raishma’s Maya Collection weaves a subtle colour palette, modern silhouettes, and intricate geometric detailing. Designed exclusively to launch our partnership with One Family, proceeds from the sale of this collection will support the rescue and rehabilitation of human trafficking survivors along the Nepal – India border, one of the busiest slave trafficking routes anywhere in the world today.
“Our partnership with One Family allows me and my team to do what we love most, and at the same time, give back to exciting projects like those supported by the Refugee Fund, which bring real change to people’s lives” said Raishma on launching the Maya Collection.
